Miami Heat Backdoor Dunk versus the Philadelphia 76ers

This play, sketched using iPlayBook, shows how the Miami Heat got an easy dunk opportunity for Lebron James out of a half court set.  Hanging around the weakside 3 point line, James waits for Dwayne Wade, the Heat Point Guard, to navigate his way through a Chris Bosh pick and roll.  While Wade and Bosh play pick and roll, Heat shooter Eddie House (or Mike Miller) spots up in the ball side corner, while James gets a back screen from the Heat center.  This works especially well when Lebron James is hitting from the outside.  This is, of course, also an effective set to setup your shooter for 3 – when his defender helps on the scary Wade/Bosh pick and roll, the corner shooter has time to square up and knock it down.
